Dominion Valley Turkey Trot 5K

The Dominion Valley Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving-week 5K and 1-mile fun run at Dominion Valley Country Club in Haymarket, benefiting Willing Warriors, which supports wounded service members and their families.

The 1-mile fun run starts at 8:30 a.m. and the chip-timed 5K at 9 a.m. The certified course is mostly flat with a few rolling hills, and walkers and strollers are welcome. 5K runners get a long-sleeve shirt if they register by November 11, and 1-mile finishers get a medal.

The 5K is $40 through November 20 and $45 on race day. The 1-mile run is $15. Packet pickup is the Friday before, 4 to 8 p.m., and on race morning.
